Fence Approval Checklist
Please consult your deed restrictions as to the specific fence guidelines for your neighborhood. If you do not have a copy of the restrictions, please contact:

You must submit the following to Community Management Associates, LLC:
1. A copy of the materials to be used (type of wood, etc.).
2. A survey copy of your lot showing property lines, easements, etc. You can obtain one of these through the County Clerk’s office, located at 162 East Main Street. There is a $2.00 up front charge. You can request a copy in writing, or simply go to their office.
3. A diagram showing where the fence will be installed in relation to the home and property lines.
4. A building permit from the city, which can be obtained by calling 258-3770.
5. A certificate from the contractor planning to do the work.
After submitting these items to our office, we will notify you within 72 hours that your plans have been approved and mail to you a written response letter.
Upon completion of the job, you are to notify the office and submit a photograph of the completed fence.
